I have interviewed Mary Lennox, here is the information I got:
Q:Who has been the most important person in your life?
A: Before I moved here, England, the most important person in my life was my Ayah because she was the only person who looked after me and cared for me. But since I moved here Martha, my maid, is the most important person in my life.
Q: What is the most exciting moment of your like so far?
A: The first time I discovered the key for the secret garden and entered the secret garden for the first time is the most exciting moment of my life.
Q: When in your life have you felt most alone?
A: When I discovered that my family and my house-hold servants had died, a governor came and picked me up and dropped me off at an orphanage family house. I lived there for a couple of weeks and everyday I was sitting alone in the garden playing my made-up game alone. A couple of days after I got there, they made up a nickname for me "Mistress Mary" and they also sang a song whenever they saw me.
Q: What is the most important lesson you have every learnt?
A: The most important lesson I have ever learnt was always treat people the way you want to be treated.
